Paper Crawler is equipment to observe the surface of the paper. It has a lens which slides over the paper, and the observer will experience it as if one looking down landscape from the sky. As the lens has only a single focus, some high and low points of the fold are blurred, which not only creates an illusional experience but also emphasises a limitation of looking.

The four clamps hold each corner of the sheet. The position of those clamps is manipulatable with two-axis handles, but they don't contribute to the reproducibility of the sight.
